Jeff Benson grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. After a successful career at Schenley High School he went on to win a National Championship at C.C.B.C. before transferring to Bloomsburg University. He would go on to win Player of the Year honors, All Conference, All Region and many other accolades including being the only player in school history to score over 1,000 points in 2 seasons.
Upon graduation, Jeff took his love and passion for basketball to the AAU circuit. Coaching, training and being a mentor to many young men first in Connecticut and in Arizona where he currently lives. He was influential in helping young men reach the Division I, II and III levels over 10 years. Jeff is now a college basketball official reaching that goal after only 3 years of officiating. Jeff also obtained his Master of Business Administration in 2011. Jeff and his wife, Miranda, have four beautiful children.
As a former student athlete Jeff is excited to bring two of his passions together… children and athletics, to help future college bound athletes through preparation and the recruiting experience.
