My teenage son spends hours gaming, and lately he’s been using some international gaming apps that I’ve never even heard of. I’m not against gaming entirely, but I do worry about safety and data privacy. This morning, I came across this article — https://quintdaily.com/2025/03/gaming-in-india-digital-sovereignty/ — and it got me wondering: is the government finally doing something about all these foreign gaming platforms operating in India unchecked? Should I be encouraging my son to stick to Indian-developed games, or are those also caught up in some of the same issues?
