I have also recently been studying FitRoom, and I can say that the system is really impressive, especially considering how quickly it is developing. The technology is based on artificial intelligence and computer vision, which allow it to analyze the user’s figure with high accuracy and select clothes based on individual parameters. AI analyzes the body shape, size, as well as fabric materials and textures, in order to accurately convey how the item will fit in the image. How does it work? It all starts with the user uploading a photo or entering their parameters, which the system uses to build an accurate body model. Then, artificial intelligence, using machine learning, analyzes how different types of clothing will look on different figures. AI also uses an extensive database of photos and models, which helps the system not only superimpose clothes on the image, but do so taking into account movement, fabric, even its folds and stretch. To say that FitRoom perfectly solves all problems would be too bold. For example, problems can arise when the system cannot accurately take into account all the features of the fabric or figure. But overall, the accuracy is quite high. I have tried similar systems myself, and I can say that sometimes AI can make mistakes in determining the fit of clothes on a figure, especially when it comes to complex details, such as, for example, cropped trousers or a non-standard cut of a jacket.
