I am a history teacher and was looking for materials to use in my lessons. I stumbled upon сhernobylstory.com and was impressed by how well structured it is. The website provides a chronology of events, eyewitness accounts, as well as photos and documents from that time. This allows students to better understand not only the technical aspects of the accident, but also the human stories behind the numbers and dates. Using the website in my lessons, I see that the children are more interested in the topic and actively ask questions. It really helps to bring history to life and make it accessible to the current generation.
