How do researchers choose reliable digital archives for historical newspaper research? 1 week, 6 days agoI always check OCR quality first because old print can be badly smudged. Last month I was tracing a family bakery closure and misread “flour” as “floor” in a blurry scan. Cross-referencing with city directories saved me. Speed matters less than accurate text rendering for my projects.
