Twenty-five years ago when my oldest son Coy said that one day he wanted to play college football, I simply smiled and said, “Who knows maybe someday”. As a parent who didn’t even go to college I started thinking how could I ever begin to help my son achieve his goal? It was kind of scary. Not only did I not know what college was like but I knew absolutely nothing about college sports and recruiting. Well, I made it my mission to learn all I could. For the past 16 years I have been helping schools all over the country educate their athletes, parents, coaches and counselors about this same topic. The ONLY way to learn what to do as a parent or coach to help a student-athlete is through EDUCATION.
Each year myself and our team of speakers conduct “Guiding the College-Bound Athlete” recruiting seminars at high schools nationwide. If you want to learn how you can schedule one of our FREE seminars at your school and educate your athletic community, click on the link below and use the resources on the web page.
Remember, you get one shot to do this right and make the most of any and all opportunities our children have come their way.
