Are these online DNA and family tree platforms actually safe for finding biological relatives? 2 months, 1 week agoI’ve used almost every major platform to map out my own family tree. The emotional toll can be heavy if you uncover family secrets, but the connections are very real. Just be aware that some platforms automatically opt you into sharing your genetic matches publicly by default, so you must manually adjust your privacy settings before mailing in the swab.
